About the event

The legacy of the Harrison House, an inspiring fundraising drive to restore the Harrison House to its former glory!

The Harrison House, located in the Historic Westside of Las Vegas, is a proud Green Book destination that carries profound significance. Once a prestigious boarding home for icons like Pearl Bailey, Sammy Davis Jr., and Nat King Cole, it was a beacon of hope and elegance during a time of segregation. The Historic Westside thrived as an affluent African American community, representing resilience and pride. Notably, the Historic Westside Las Vegas was home to the nation’s first integrated hotel casino, The Moulin Rouge, showcasing the spirit of unity and progress.

Today, the Harrison House stands as a powerful symbol of resilience and pride, inviting you to dive into its captivating history. Join us in celebrating this extraordinary legacy, where every story and memory inspires future generations. The Harrison House is more…
